There are many ways to support the Downtown Jewish Center Chabad beyond traditional donations. Consider these options that may provide additional tax benefits.
Real Estate Donation
You may have real estate that has depreciated in value. You can get the full appraised value for that real estate even if you couldn't sell it for that amount.
Appreciated Stock
Donating appreciated stock directly to Downtown Jewish Center helps you avoid capital gains tax while getting a donation credit at 100% of the stock value.
Foundations
If you or your family have a charitable foundation or distribution trust fund, please include and encourage an annual allocation with Downtown Jewish Center.
