Guidelines for Connecting
Please follow these guidelines to ensure a positive experience for both you and your soldier.
- 1Be respectful of their preferred time to connect.
- 2Only use their preferred connection method (WhatsApp or email).
- 3Keep conversations appropriate, respectful, and mindful of their time.
- 4Conversations should be supportive and encouraging.
- 5Do not inquire about sensitive military information. They will share what they are comfortable with.
- 6You may send them additional gifts if you choose.
- 7You may NOT share their information with ANYONE.
- 8Pray for them – say their name and mother's name when reciting prayers.
- 9Do a mitzvah in their merit: light Shabbat candles, give tzedakah, put on tefillin.
- 10Share a photo of yourself so they can make a personal connection.
